To be frank, I might think I figured out what I want or what type of writer I’m becoming but in reality there’s no such thing. I’m still discovering new methods & ways to see what I enjoy most. I enjoy a lot of things. I can easily try something new & commit to it & perhaps that’s why it’s a bit difficult for me to decide or to understand what exactly is my thing.
Don’t feel pressured, you don’t have to know what type of artist you’re going to become or what your style of writing is just yet. Honestly, you don’t really need to settle for one thing. Just keep doing what you love & it’ll come to you.
You need to keep trying & seeing what you wouldn’t mind spending hours on. I realized I loved my major after this. I spent hours studying electric circuits & I didn’t mind. I wasn’t bored out of my mind & I didn’t feel like I was suffocating. I realized I actually enjoyed it.
It could take you seconds or long nights & hours to find what you like & what you’re good at. But if the end result leads you to where you’re meant to be then so be it.
My advice would be to keep rediscovering yourself & looking for yourself until you eventually find it.
