Stay alive. Stay alive. Stay alive.
A lot of people in school used to come straight out of bed & were super lazy & cranky in the morning. I admit I was cranky on some days too. Sometimes you just don’t get enough sleep & cram the night before. Sometimes you have other things going on & school is just something you have to do on top of that. I get that.
That’s no lifestyle my friend!
Don’t be one of those people that walk around like they’re dead every single day, complaining and acting like they don’t have a purpose in their life.
How many of you have friends that do nothing but complain?
“I didn’t have enough sleep.”, “I’m so hungry, I didn’t have time to eat.”, “I’m so bored I wish I can go home.”
Personally, it really ticks me off being around people like that. I mean it’s one thing to be tired once or twice or even three times. But, EVERY. SINGLE. DAY? Come one!
It becomes so toxic being around them and every minute with them drains the energy out of me. Is that really the person you want to be?
I feel negative sometimes, although on those days, I keep it to myself. I try not to spread it around the people I’m surrounded with.
You can’t spend 4 or 5 years in an environment and be that negative the whole time. Before you know it, it’s graduation day and it’s over.
Congratulations, you spent 4 years complaining. Here’s your graduation gown & diploma!
School is hard, studying is hard. But as Rory Gilmore once said:
“You won’t be in school forever.”
So just try and enjoy it. Stop being just like everyone else. Complaining and having no energy is not cool I swear. People might listen to you talk about all the reasons you don’t want to be here but they won’t necessarily appreciate the fact that you’re polluting their air.
Don’t get me wrong, confiding in someone and telling them about the actual problems you have is healthy, but just dumping negativity every single day is too toxic.
I’m going to tell you what I would tell myself: Do yourself and everyone else a favor by getting it together and staying alive!
